Happy Halloween!

Halloween was fun this year with the dogs, we dressed them up! We were lame and didn't dress ourselves up but our dogs were hillarious! We carved pumpkins on Wednesday and then last night we ate chili and watched Twighlight! (2 weeks, 5 days until NEW MOON!!!!).

Updates! and some BIG news :)

We went a few weeks ago to Big Judds in Archer and it was so funny watching these boys down those huge burgers!!!

Here's their plates when they were done- it looked like Dylan had sent his through the dishwasher!

The BIG news is our new baby!!! This is KIA our new puppy. We adopted her from the humane society. She is four months old and a german shephard husky mix. We love her lots and are excited to have a new member of our little family!

Overdue! We've moved!

So we finally moved out of our little apartment and upgraded to a new place just around the corner from our old one. Its a duplex (I've heard it called duplex, twin home, and town home- all I know is its like a house with a siamese twin). We're so excited and Sophie is finally a legal resident and is thrilled to have a yard. What's funny is we were debating between two places and one factor in choosing this one is we thought we would still be in the same ward..think again. Its just two blocks away from our apartment and we're in a different ward! Weird. But thats ok, change is fun and our new ward has been really awesome so far. Here are a few pictures..

Our last day with our primary class :(

So we were also able to find a new car!!! I'm so excited, the newest car I had ever driven before the wreck was the 1997 Toyota Camry that got totalled. This is our wonderful 2004 Honda Accord! Hoorah!

Sophie in flight!!
So we took Sophie for a big adventure the other day. We flew to Rexburg and took her on her first flight! She was terrified and didn't like it at all so she had to ride home afterwards in the car with Dylan's mom. But it was a fun experience! (for us)

Summer time

SO. Its been a terribly long time since I've blogged. We had a period of time without internet while we've been moving but I'm all up and running now! (Moving blog coming soon)

For the last few weeks we've been trying to get the most out of the rest summer before Dylan goes back to school. We had a fun rafting adventure in Jackson and Caitlyn's dad was in town and had a blast!

We next headed to Lagoon for Caitlyn's birthday. Big 20!!! No pictures unfortunately but tons of fun in the sun. Then just last weekend we drove to Rock Springs, WYO to see my mom. It was great fun with my crazy family and Sophie loved seeing her nana. We did some golfing (and I did some caddying) We took Erin with us too. The best part of the trip was my mom taught me how to make her amazing homemade pies! Much good baking to come from the Cooper Kitchen!

Some not so fun summer news... Last Friday I got in a car accident on Sunnyside. The wreck was not my fault at all which is nice as far as insurance goes but it has turned into a big pain and a lot of paper work. I was driving along on Sunnyside when out of nowhere a minivan pulled out onto Sunnyside without looking at all. She hit my passenger side front bumper and sent me spinning to the curb on the opposite side of the street. Miraculously I am completley fine, just a little sore. My Camry however did not do so hot. As Majestic Autobody would say "it is a total loss". SO the search for a new car begins.
Her car..

My car...

A perspective view..her minivan is clear back there on the left. I spun pretty far!

I feel terrible. I don't know how I forgot to mention Sophie's greatest achievement. She has successfully completed puppy kindergarden and graduated from Pet Smart's program! So she, Allie, and I are the proud graduates of 2009! Woohoo! On to real life..or the first grade for Sophie :)

Me 3 months before starting beauty school..my natural hair color, AHH!

YAY CLASS OF 2009!

Vacation on the face of the sun!

Well we just got back from Phoenix, Arizona a couple weeks ago. We went down to help Dylan's brother Andy move some of his furniture into his new house and to do some painting. It was 109 degrees!!! And it was only May 15th! We sweated our guts out but it was good to be out of the cold and rain of Idaho in the spring. We went to the Phoenix Zoo which was a ton of fun, even in the heat. Makoy loved the baboon, and the baboon loved him back

The giraffes!
Hopefully next summer we'll be taking another similar trip to move ourselves down there for medical school!
Poor Sophie was so hot while we were there with all her thick black hair but she found ways to keep cool...she learned to drink out of a water bottle. What fun! The drive was really long for her but she kept hydrated and had fun with Makoy.

Hair show...Doggie Baths...Easter...Randi's hair...graduation!!

Wow! Too much has gone on since I last blogged! Our hair show was awesome! Amazing! So much energy and so exciting. No one knew what to expect, some people thought we'd be on stage cutting hair but it was more of a fashion show that was themed to broadway musicals. Our segment was "ANNIE" so here I am (the real Annie with Cami, our stage Annie) Something strange posessed us to give all three dogs a bath at once but it turned out to be great fun! Here's a fresh and clean Tevi, Sophie, and Kalu!

Easter was fun, we went to get me a dress the night before and ended up getting some new sun glasses too (which Dylan left in Boise yesterday).

Announcing the beautiful new Randi Oswald!! Durring a very emotional appointment, we CHOPPED Randi's hair off! It was tons of fun, a few tears but ultimately amazing! Mr. Oswald loves his new "girlfriend" as he calls her. We added more blonde for a fun spring look!

And FINALLY I am DONE with hair school!! (One year, 2,000 hours, and $10,000 later) I took my written state test last monday and I passed (don't know my percent yet) and I took my practical exam yesterday in Boise. LONG day! Me and Dylan drove there in the morning, took the test at 1:00 and we drove back home that day! So stressful but I'm so glad its all over at last! I am now working at Generations Salon in the Chantilly Professional Plaza off of Sunnyside. I am assisting the owner 2 days a week and taking clients the rest of the time. I'm so excited and it will be so rewarding to spend 4o plus hours a week somewhere and come home with something to show for it. Call me for an appointment!! Here I am with Stacey on my 2,000th hour getting ready to go home!
